Arrival
Cracow has an international airport with many connections to european destinations. There are also frequent flights between Cracow and Warsaw, which is the main airport in Poland; Warsaw and Cracow are also connected by trains; the journey takes about 3 hours. Next near airport is Katowice, with direct transports to Cracow by bus (about 2 hours).
The transport from Cracow airport to the central train station (Dworzec Główny) can be made by shuttle train; the trip takes 17 minutes. The shuttle terminal at the airport is located near the main entrance of the international terminal and can be attained by bus or on foot. Shuttle trains from the central train station to the airport depart from Platform 1; tickets cost 8 PLN each way and can be bought on the train.
One can also get to the city centre by taxi, and a typical fare is 55 PLN.
